👩🏽💼 The interview is the chance for the school to dig a little bit deeper to get to know you, your motivations, and your story. They want to know what you'd gain from and what you would give to their program.

Overview
Of the 5 schools I applied to, only Kellogg guarantees that everyone can get an interview. For the rest of the schools, you have to be invited to interview. Each school goes about the interview invite process differently, but generally it's a bit of a waiting game.
Here are some tips for preparing for your interviews:
- Make sure you do even more school research, especially looking into recent news from the school. Literally follow their instagram or twitter and check their website for recent updates. Getting a sense of the vibe of the school will help you speak more authentically to why you would be a good fit for them.
Stalk Research your interviewer! 🔬Obviously look up their LinkedIn, but also do some google searches and you can potentially find things they've written or youtube videos they're featured in.
- Know your story! What are your career goals and how does an MBA fit into them?
- If you like to talk a lot (like me 😏) make sure you practice adding some structure to your responses. Either the STAR method (Situation. Task. Action. Result) or CARL method(Context. Action. Result. Learning) works for me.
- Come up with a list of stories that you can use for a range of behavioral questions.
